A home for Missionaries

Ad Gentes Mission has established a mission house near the campus of Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio.  This mission house serves as a base of operations providing a place of home and community for young men and women who have a heart for mission.

The Ad Gentes Mission house team is tasked with creating an inviting space that is more conducive to building community among the missionaries than a conference room on campus.  We offer our teams a warm and inviting place to host their business meetings, training sessions, prayer and Bible studies.

Discernment and Solidarity

The Ad Gentes Mission house team provides community outreach programs for students interested in learning more about missionary activity or discerning a missionary vocation.  Although we serve mission teams preparing for different places and peoples, the mission house is a hub for all the missionaries to find solidarity with one another.

A Place to Process

Additionally, the mission house team creates opportunities to process and digest the life transforming encounters experienced by the missionaries upon returning from mission.  This is a critical stage in the life of a missionary.  We serve all kinds of missionaries, including missionaries outside the teams we facilitate.

We are exited to share with you an overview of what we have planned this semester. We hope you and your teams will join us each month for these wonderful community building events we have in store for you! We will send detailed information via social media.
